BIOGRAPHY
1993 : Louise was spotted by manager Denis Ingoldsby
in a nightclub in London. She and friend Kelle Bryan
was introduced to Easther and Vernie Bennett to form
what was the biggest girl group before the Spice Girls,
'Eternal'. The group was quickly signed up by EMI.
1995 : Louise left Eternal at the height of their success.
She recalls it as the hardest moment of her life.
The management of First Avenue insisted that Louise
pursued a solo carreer.
Light Of My Life was her debut release in which charted
in at number 8 in the UK charts followed by four Top 15
hit singles and a platinum selling album 'Naked'.
1997 : Louise toured Asia following her success worldwide
and in 1997, she returned back to the UK to release her
hit single 'Arms Around The World' taken from her second
platinum album 'Woman In Me'.
Louise released two further top 10 hits.
Since being solo, Louise has scored a great collection of
awards including Best Female Solo Artist by Smash Hits
Poll Winners Party, Melody Maker, Variety Club as well as
veing nominated in the same category for the Brits Award.
Louise has been a favourite with magazine titles such as Sky
and FHM. Louise took up her first solo 'sell out' tour of
21 dates throughout the UK.
1998 : Louise Nurding married footballer Jamie Redknapp.
This was later followed by a two year break in which
Louise was also working on her third album aptly entitled
'Elbow Beach', the beach where she and Jamie tied the knot.
The first single from the album, '2 Faced', shot straight into
number 3 in the UK charts and later released the hit
Beautiful Inside which included a sample from Wu Tang Clan.
Louise co-presented ITV's Children's hit 'SMTV' and later modelled for fashion label Jesire.
2003 : After a long break, Louise returned with new independent label Positive Records. Her major come-back r'n'b & rock track 'Pandora's Kiss' went straight in at number 5. The single was a double a-side with charity hit 'Don't Give Up'.
In April, Louise was crowned Sexiest Female Of The Decade by readers of FHM Magazine. The FHM edition that was to follow also marked what was going to be Louise's last covershoot for the magazine before her giving birth to her newly born child.
On the 27th July 2004, Louise gave birth to Charley Redknapp. The name was chosen after her grandfather, who died on the day she discovered she was pregnant. Charley weighed a healthy 6lbs 6oz and was delivered by Caesarean section. Louise says, 'I have just settled into motherhood, and I love it. I would be a liar if I said it wasn't hard because it was. The sleepless night were the hardest of all. Before I had Charley I thought that I was going to be one of those mothers who went back to work in 6 weeks, but it took me a lot longer than I thought to get myself together. I have just started getting dressed before 9.00 in the morning.'
Louise once feared she would never be able to conceive after she was diagnosed with endometriosis. Louise had been trying to conceive for two years before she discovered she suffered from endometriosis. Following successful laser treatment she became pregnant.
'It can be very painful," Louise proclaimed, "Some sufferers are as young as 19 or 20. I suffered very badly with it and it took me four years for me to fall pregnant with Charley. I don't know whether this has made Charley more special to us'.
Louise also admits her passion for pets could get out of control. Louise has such a soft spot for vulnerable four-legged friends that she can't bear not to take them under her wing. 'I've been brought up with animals in the family and I don't like to see anything badly treated, whether it's people, dogs or cats. Trouble is that, in 20 or 30 years, I could be one of those nutters who has 20 cats and smells of wee.'
2005 : August : Louise became the new face of Think Happy's Organic product range made from premium quality organic ingredients. A percentage of the sales from the product will go to funding an orphanage in Kenya called Wototo. Louise also launched the first crust-less loaf in the world with Hovis.
2006 : April : Louise injected a touch of glamour into a new advertising campaign from Sale-based agency AWA. She fronted a national advertising campaign created by AWA for the Vitint Safe & White home teeth whitening brand. Louise was identified by AWA as the UK celebrity that best illustrates the natural beauty associated with the brand. Louise also launched Flora OMEGA 3 and Wrigley's Ice White gum.
Louise signed up to Merlin Elite, her new management. Louise's major works include the BBC classic, The Clothes Show. The fashion show returned to our screens in October and Louise played a major role in fronting the UK's most watched fashion TV show.
2007 : Louise starred in the highly controversial ITV documentary, 'The Truth About Size Zero'. An in depth observational documentary that followed Louise on a personal journey investigating what it really takes to be super slim. Critics called it the opposite version of 'Super Size Me'. Louise dramatically and dangerously dropped to an American size zero.

During the Summer and Autumn, Louise wrote a monthly diary for Airport operator BAA, it gave passengers an insight into Louise's fashion and style tips.
Louise was the new face and curves of Triumph lingerie. Her accessible nature coupled with her obvious beauty and stunning figure makes her the perfect representative for Triumph. It’s been six years since they last had a celebrity ambassador and Louise perfectly embodies the unique qualities of the brand. A Triumph Spokesperson said “She’s beautiful, charming, with an enviable figure, yet amazingly down to earth”. The campaign has launched on giant billboards in Central London with press ads and posters to follow.
2008 : Janaury seen Louise in support of Boot’s ‘Know Your Figure’ campaign. Aimed at creating awareness of your BMI and knowing the healthy weight for your size and shape, Boots has put thousands of BMI calculator machines into their stores nation wide. Louise was the perfect choice to front the project following her testing experience during ‘The Truth about Size Zero’ documentary.
In March, Louise appeared in the celebrity version of The Apprentice, raising money for Sports Relief. Louise was in the winning team and was praised for her role in making the most profit.
On the 10th November 2008, Louise gave birth to Beau Henry Redknapp by caesarean. Beau is the second child of Louise and Jamie. Charlie, 4, was said to have been really excited.
