Get a grip!
I have a read a few of the comments below and feel that far too many people have missunderstood the point of the program. The show was merely there to highlight the issues surrounding the size 0 debate, and to try and educate the public. I think it did a very good job of demonstrating how obsessed our nation is, and how girls are suffering because of everyday pressure, as much as they are being influenced by the catwalk.
I mean take a look at the 12 year-old-girl...what exactly are her parents doing to prevent her becoming obsessed with her weight so young...that's being irrisponsible! What about all of the weekly women's celeb bashing mags? The ones with their 'diet tips' drop a celeb dress size in a week...are they irrisponsible? The circle of shame and constant jumping between the 'fat' and ''skinny' debate. People buy this stuff because they wanna know. Smokers don't stop smoking because a law now means the pack tells them it's killing them.

You can't prevent girls from wanting to be thin, we all do, I mean, why do you think so many people tunned in, in the first place...to find out how ill she got?...no, to find out how to drop weight quickly. But at least someone is highlighting the whole issue and not just pointing blame, or capitalising off the trend.
If that programme has eductated even a small percentage of people, in my opinion it's one step closer to helping the issue, and has done exactly what it set out to achive. Well done louise!
As for the girls in your office who are 'trying' the diet, next month they'll all be getting eating drinking and partying hard again, so I wouldnn't worry about it. We're a faddy nation, they'll get over it!
