who do Louise & Jamie Redknapp speak to when they have a problem with their "Thomas Cook" holiday?....Cheif Exec Ian Derbyshire perhaps?
I am not one for ads or celeb brands but i do like the new TC ad with Louise and Jamie. No doubt they got a good wad of cash for their efforts but even so because they come across as being down to earth, nice people it makes the ad so sincere and gives us all a glimpse of what we want from a holiday...and yes.....i fell for it!! I even paid more for the same holiday i had found elsewhere so i would be in the safe hands of TC.
As a result of the above i have booked a family holiday. Feeling very pleased with myself i emailed my husband who is thousands of miles away and has been for the last 4 months with no home leave. This holiday was going to be a time to "fall in love again". My nieces were looking on the net with their mums and planning what they would be doing on their first day.....
To cut a long story short Thomas Cook admitted a mistake on their part at the time of booking , leaving me with 2 separate rooms instead of family or adjoining room, no guarentee that they will be anywhere close to each other as the hotel has 5oo+ rooms/ expecting me to leave 2 children alone offering no resolve. i am Joe public and not a celeb, but this level of care is appauling to any walk of life especialy with Maddy Mccann being in out thoughts again.
Should their be one rule and more care for someone who has a big bank balance and less for someone who does not? Or when it comes to precious things like the care and safety of children should we all expect the same?
