LOUISE DOES THE APPRENTICE

February 2008

The one and only Sir Alan Sugar is set to boss ten top celebrity candidates including Louise Redknapp in BBC Sport Relief does the Apprentice.

Over two gruelling days the famous faces will form two teams and work their socks off to raise as much money as possible - all under the watchful eyes of Sir Alan's sidekicks, Nick Hewer and Margeret Mountford.

If they succeed the show climaxes in a star-studded commercial fight to the finish. If they fail their celebrity status will not save them from the wrath of Sir Alan.

Sport Relief 2008 is all about challenging yourself, friends, family and colleagues to do something sporty and raise cash. Sport Relief harnesses the power and passion of sport to change lives for the better. The money raised will go to help vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.

The ultimate challenge for the public is doing the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile where hundreds of thousands of people across the country will take to the streets and go the distance for Sport Relief. This year participants can set their own challenge by having the choice of running 1, 3 or 6 mile courses and can sign up at www.bbc.co.uk/sportrelief

Olympic gold medal winning rower James Cracknell will be taking the lead in inspiring the nation by undertaking an “England to Africa Triathlon” challenge.

Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles will also be rising to the challenge for Sport Relief when they take on a Newcastle to London cycle ride.

This year record breaking X Factor superstar Leona Lewis will be releasing the official Sport Relief single.

Sport Relief does the Apprentice is just one exciting part of the cracking Sport Relief night of entertainment on Friday March 14th - make sure you are watching!
